Feather Acrylic Bookmark - Clear Scraps

Good morning everyone!  Hope your Monday is off to a great start.  I am a little late sharing this, but Saturday I had this fun tutorial up on the Clear Scraps blog on making a bookmark from one of the Clear Scraps Feather Mixers.

To begin, you will need your Clear Scrap Feather Mixers, coordinating acrylic paint colors, a paint brush, and paper towels.
Begin by painting your first layer of paint onto the feather.  After paint begins to dry, wipe gently to remove some of the paint, revealing some of the clear acrylic.

Continue adding layers of color and removing excess paint from the acrylic as it dries.

Lastly I splattered bits of white paint over the top.
If you like, you can add a layer of Glossy Accents to seal the paint and add an extra layer of shine.

Who wouldn't love this fun bookmark to do their summer reading?

Hugs.
